A Whimsical and Enchanted Garden

We love the challenge of transforming a large space into our client’s vision.  Memminger Auditorium is that space in Charleston.  It is a blank canvas and the perfect shell to create intense drama.  When working here, “Go Big” is an understatement.

Here we created a whimsical, magical, forest of character and kept this corporate group on their toes with a pull curtain reveal, cirque performers, contortionists, and a killer band not to mention a dramatically lighted, space filled with oversized floral garden, topiary animals, dreamy crystal chandeliers & candelabras under the oaks, and a playful floral and butterfly canopied bar.  With this theme the more outlandish, the better.  That’s the Loluma way!

Celebrating a Birthday Party the Loluma way…

The Loluma Team had an amazing start to our weekend last weekend.  Our production manager, Moriah White, celebrated her 40th Birthday, and in true Loluma form, we went all out for it.  What an amazing venue she chose for the festivities, a first for us hosting at Revelry Brewing Co.  What an incredible spot.  The staff was so great to work with, not to mention, tasty brews.  The setting is perfect for a party and our fantastic lighting designer, Christopher, was able to highlight all the fun brew tanks and other industrial elements.  We all showed off our talents with an Epic Lip-sync Battle and enjoyed performances from Kyle Johnson, Charleston’s incredible break dancing, street performer.

What a night!

Welcoming your wedding guests to Charleston…

A Rehearsal Dinner in Charleston, tends to be more than just a dinner, gathering immediate family and bridal party.  Our Destination brides use it to welcome their full guest list to our beautiful city.  We always recommend sharing a part of town they may not discover or have the ability to venture to.  An event venue very different from the wedding location the following evening.  Kathleen and Chase decided to share a location very special to her Charleston family roots.  Middleton Place was the perfect place to create the casual style Welcome Dinner she was hoping for, and a place contrasting her downtown, Yacht Club wedding for the following day.  Keep checking back as we share their wedding photos next…!
