On The Wedding Row!

We are so excited to be today’s feature on one of our favorite blogs. The Wedding Row is an amazing way to keep up with the Charleston Wedding market and see all the unique ways other brides in the area are celebrating their weddings, not to mention the showcase all the BEST talent the Charleston wedding and event industry has to offer.

Today, they featured a Loluma favorite! See the full post here. Lisa and Josh’s sophisticated and fun Middleton Place extravaganza. Middleton Place is among the best of the best and that goes without saying when you see the gorgeous setting Lisa and Josh enjoyed throughout their wedding celebration. Surprises around every corner, and I can honestly say, this event was jam packed full of fabulous food thanks to Cru Catering, incredible Loluma style and fun entertainment throughout! Thanks to Tim Will Photography, we’ve got these beauties to prove it!

Emily & Jenner

We never get tired of working at this private club in Downtown Charleston overlooking the Harbor. It is such a blank canvas to create all looks and styles for weddings and events alike.

This bride had such a fun and unique style. Playful and feminine, with low country influence, there were several iconic elements used to really make it stand out from anything else we have created in this space. A wall of flower stems that appear to be floating behind the cake, made a great statement and photographic opportunity towards the end of the night. A low boxwood hedge to dress up the stage displayed the bride and groom’s monogram in rose heads, and our new favorite light fixtures, created with strands of oyster shells and bronze trim. We love these photos by Anne Rhett Photography beautifully capturing the details, not to mention the gorgeous bride smiling ear to ear the entire night.

Charleston Weddings Feature!

We are honored and excited to be featured in the current Spring issue of Charleston Weddings.  Bonnie and Neal were one of our most unique couples and their playful fun loving attitudes were very apparent in the style and overall feel of the wedding.  Thank you to everyone involved to make this wedding one of our favorites and clearly a favorite of our friends at Charleston Weddings.  Take a look at the full story and all vendors involved at this link.

Celebrating a Birthday Party the Loluma way…

The Loluma Team had an amazing start to our weekend last weekend.  Our production manager, Moriah White, celebrated her 40th Birthday, and in true Loluma form, we went all out for it.  What an amazing venue she chose for the festivities, a first for us hosting at Revelry Brewing Co.  What an incredible spot.  The staff was so great to work with, not to mention, tasty brews.  The setting is perfect for a party and our fantastic lighting designer, Christopher, was able to highlight all the fun brew tanks and other industrial elements.  We all showed off our talents with an Epic Lip-sync Battle and enjoyed performances from Kyle Johnson, Charleston’s incredible break dancing, street performer.

What a night!

The Hughes Sisters!

We have had a few opportunities over the years to work with families for multiple milestones.  With the Hughes family, we were blessed to be a part of each of their amazing daughter’s wedding celebrations.  Lily and Sarah are beautiful, gracious and fun loving women, who come from a tight knit and loving family.  Where the solid foundation of their upbringing brought similarities to their weddings, their differences in personality allowed for so many unique elements, distinguishing one from the other.  No matter their style and priorities, both Lily’s wedding in Charleston and Sarah’s in Savannah spoiled their friends and family with incredible wedding weekend festivities.

We can only assume, after nearly 20 years in the wedding business, we may soon be asked to cross generations within families.  Are there any past Loluma brides who have daughter’s with impending engagements?
