To create a beautiful customized look on a limited budget in one of Charleston's Premier Wedding venues during the height of peak wedding season.
We were able to create a customized, romantic and feminine look and keep the cost down by focusing on a few dominant, decorative elements to establish the overall look. We chose to key in on the dance tent by utilizing a large, crystal chandelier in the center of the tent highlighted with subtle coral fabric swags and a substantial vintage lounge accented with silk pillows in the brides signature colors of coral, peach and ivory. In addition we encouraged simple lighting effects to highlight the property's existing trees and architecture. Accentuating the property's history and southern charm though the use of lighting is a great way to create a welcoming atmosphere throughout the evening while staying within a budget. Repurposing the ceremony flowers and bouquets into the dance tent while guests are inside the main house for dinner, is a great way to stretch tight budgets.
