Kristin & Leif

Kristin was really into the personal details making the wedding so meaningful to the couple, their family and friends.  This progressive event took place on a historically, southern style plantation on the Ashley River.  Beginning with a stunning ceremony under a spidery large oak tree by the riverside, the guests then moved through the ruins of the old house to a sailcloth tent covered cocktail hour.  They then ended at a large tent split down the center by a large round bar and billowy, butter colored fabric.  After feasting on a family style dinner featuring individual cakes for each table, the drapery was parted to reveal the post dinner dance party.  Guests enjoyed live music and more libations to end the night on an energy high.  From the gorgeous jewel tone flowers, incredible, a hand crafted chandelier, and a hand selected variety of vintage china, the style and design certainly left a lasting impression on all who attended.  One of our favorite details showed the bride’s true playful side.   Surprising her Swedish Groom with a mystical appearance from a traditional folkloric stuffed gnome that followed them at every moment of the celebration.
