Bonnie & Neal

This couple came to Charleston all the way from Hong Kong.  They chose this area based on the Mother of the Bride’s South Carolina roots.  With Bonnie born and raised in Hong Kong and the Father of the Groom’s Indian upbringing, their big weekend consisted of three nights of festivities each representing a different culture.  Ending with this event, the “White Wedding” representing their love of Charleston.  The bride’s style was a mix of industrial and organic with a large wooden structure filled with drippy Edison bulbs over the large Bridal party table.  Unique elements included a large tapestry style artist depiction of the world map The worldly guests found their home, the location from which they travelled, and followed a gold thread to see where they would be seated for dinner.  The client’s choice of color palate, robins egg blue, most apparent in the soft drape of the clear top tent, and marigold yellow in the flowers, was fresh and modern.
