Charleston Weddings Feature!

We are honored and excited to be featured in the current Spring issue of Charleston Weddings.  Bonnie and Neal were one of our most unique couples and their playful fun loving attitudes were very apparent in the style and overall feel of the wedding.  Thank you to everyone involved to make this wedding one of our favorites and clearly a favorite of our friends at Charleston Weddings.  Take a look at the full story and all vendors involved at this link.

Draping Elegance in Casual Spaces

One of our all time favorite spots in Charleston is the Pavilion at Mingo Point at Kiawah Island.  The possibilities for dreaming and creating are endless.  On a normal day, you will find the space full of picnic tables and plastic “camping tent style” khaki walls rolled down.  However, the ceiling grid and wooden columns make it the perfect place to dress up and transform into an elegant affair, with draping and lighting fixtures to suit any event style.  Not to mention the gorgeous views of the water and marsh we all think of when we hear Kiawah Island.  We always love hearing from the oh so talented team at WED, and when they called in need of our draping skills, we jumped on it.  Creating both soft swags scalloped from the ceiling and vertical curtaining throughout, both softened and highlighted the structure creating the bride’s ideal southern, feminine, romance.

Anne Kelley: Married!

We are so excited to be able to finally share Anne Kelley’s bridal portraits with you after her fabulous wedding at the William Aiken House this past Saturday.  We were able to enlist the amazing photography skills of Sean Money & Elizabeth Faye, and had an absolute blast working with them.  Not to mention, their photography skills are off the chain!  Anne Kelley could not say enough regarding the fun she had working with them on this portrait session and the pictures certainly prove that.  We are really excited to see the pictures from the wedding!  This bouquet, by the way, might just be one of my favorites, thanks to the skills of Loluma’s very own Leesa Phipps.
